‘Patrick Meneses is Not Gay’ – Aiko Melendez
Aiko Melendez is being sued by her ex-boyfriend Patrick Meneses for implying on Twitter that the Bulacan City Mayor is gay. Eventually, the local officials in Bulacan threatened to declare the actress/politician persona non grata in the province if proven guilty of libel.
In an interview by Boy Abunda on “The Buzz” last Sunday, Aiko Melendez made it clear that her ex-boyfriend is NOT gay. She said she never doubted Meneses’ gender during their three years relationship.
She also denied that the reason of their break-up was a third party which is a guy! This is the blind item writeen by showbiz news reporter Pete Ampoloquio and Meneses, who appeared on TV5’s Paparazzi last Sunday, is accusing Melendez the mastermind of such blind item and that she paid Ampoloquio to write the rumor.
“Ang blind item could be anyone. Like I’ve said, blind item is blind item…Kapag blind item, hindi ka magre-react kung hindi ka guilty po,” Melendez said on The Buzz.
Is Aiko “implying” something (again) on the above-mentioned statement?
Melendez and Meneses broke up last February 2011.
