‘Ikaw ang Pag-ibig’ – Movie Poster & Trailer
The movie is a tribute to the Tri-centennial celebration of the Philippine’s devotion to Our Lady of Peñafrancia of Bicol Region in the Philippines. It’s joint production of UNITEL, MDAFI (Marilou Diaz-Abaya Film Institute), and the Archdiocese of Caceres, and it will be distributed by Star Cinema.
The religious film, Ikaw Ang Pag-ibig depicts the true story of love and defines love like no other.The film that took about 2 and a half years in the making is helmed by the award-winning filmmaker and breast cancer survivor herself, Marilou Diaz-Abaya.
“Ikaw Ang Pag-Ibig” is currently being screened in several public schools, colleges and universities, by blocks and phases, until it’s theatrical nationwide release on September 2011.
Also starring in the film are Shamaine Centenera, Nonnie Buencamino, Jaime Fabregas and Eddie Garcia.

this movie doesn’t intent to make it big in the box office. it is a personal project of marilou diaz abaya. If you read the article, this film has been touring different public schools/colleges/universities in gratis.
Ina’s parents don’t make it as big stars if you are just basing your judgment with box-office results in mind. But among their peers, Johnny and Laurice are among the brightest and most respected thespian in Philippine showbiz.
ang mga pinoy sa ngayon ay di na interesado sa ganitong pelikula ,pag ang movie na to ay pinalutang na kumita ,isa itong kalokohan.pero pag di kumita ito ay katotohanan.kahit pa Star Cinema ang nag release ng movie na to di ito ang tema ng movie na papasukin ng karamihang pinoy.they would rather go to the beach and have fun with their love ones or family rather seat down and watch this kind of genre.And who is interested to watch with this movie with a no name lead star like Ina Feleo. hello, dah! even her parents didnt make it as a big star in industry.
