Britney Spears – ‘Till the World Ends’ Music Video Premiere
“Till the World Ends” is another apocalyptic song that reminds me of Jay Sean‘s “2012.” And it’s co-written by Ke$ha by the way. She explained that the song was inspired by “me imagining [Spears] and any female musician touring the world”, adding that “when you got [sic] out, and you’re having an amazing, magical night and you don’t want to go to sleep and you want it to last until the world ends.”
The music video for “Till the World Ends” was directed by Ray Kay and filmed inside a basement in Los Angeles, California.

Britney’s voice may not be as brilliant as any artist, but is Avril’s voice that impressive esp live? To be honest, without bias…NO…went to her concert when she visited Manila and her voice is not that good…I have a video, I can post it on Youtube, image is not that good (hindi pa HQ mga camera phone noon) but you can clearly hear her voice…she’s good with ballad though…I’m an Avril fan so I’m also following some forums about her and majority says that these days, she doesn’t sing to her full potential (I can give you the link if you want)…
My favorite album by the way is Under My Skin…”Nobody’s Home” , “How Does It Feel” and “Fall to Pieces”….
Any its unfair to say Brit doesn’t sing live, although very rare? Because her songs are not for live performance..listen to Blackout..I can’t imagine her singing it live or any artist…and her choice of songs really suits her voice…no one can sing a Britney song and will say its better sounding…when Lea Michelle did BOMT…it was horrible….quoting from a critic:

You can have a good voice but i fyou don’t know how to play with it, its useless…Kim Kardashian came out with a song and it was FLAT…Britney on the other hand got this kind of raspy, sexy voice which makes her unique…
Listen to Everytime (circus live in Ontario) or her versions of You Oughtta Know…or Walk this way with Aerosmith or her versions of I got you babe or I’m scared….they are actually pretty good…so to say she can’t sing is kinda unfair…she already sold 100 million albums world wide and millions of songs…that’s already a testament of her talent…
In any industry…talent doesn’t count alone…you need more than the talent…yes Avril can do many things but unfortunately, she can’t showcase it with her packaging/image…from the start of her career…she never experimented/grow musically, its still the same punk sound (The similarity between WTH and Girlfriend is undeniable) that’s why she is becoming more irrelevant (in terms of the current market)…and hard to compete with the current trend…
I’m not bashing any artist particularly Avril…
I understand the sentiments of Britney fans,
to compare Britney to Avril is kinda absurd….
Avril is a talented singer…but in terms of star
power and who made a marked in the music industry
around the world, Britney is on top…maybe she’s
not the same Britney as before but every artist
will go through the same phase…there’s only a
few who can maintain their relevancy after their
superstar status fades – Madonna, Celine, Kylie
and Mariah and Britney are the few who can still
compete in this younger generation…Maybe Britney
can’t dance like the way she used to, but great
dancing or not, she can still put up a damn-good
shown…Form me, a good concert should stimulate
all the senses…something that will marvel your
eyes and make you dance on your seats…I find it
really annoying when people say that without the
theatrics Britney will be a boring act…of course…
any concert will be boring without the theatrics…
I saw several live concerts of Mandy Moore, Rihanna,
Christina A. and Kelly Clarkson…yes they sound good
and sings live (except Rihanna – I’m also a fan but
her live voice is not really that good live)…but its
not as entertaining as a Britney Concert…and even
if her dancing is not as great as before…there is
this aura with her that marvels everyone, her facial
expressions and the way she teased the audience….That’s what makes her show entertaining…
Watch an Avril performance and she’s literally just standing twirling with the mic? Blank facial expression and doesn’t resonate with the camera…
Again, not hating Avril but Britney’s work and legacy definitely triumphs over Avril…and I think you know that’s the truth…
