Charice to Star in Hollywood Movie ‘Here Comes the Boom’
“Here Comes the Boom” is an action-comedy film produced by Sony Pictures and it will star Henry Winkler, Kevin James and Salma Hayek.
According to Variety, Frank Coraci (The Wedding Singer, The Waterboy, Around the World in 80 Days, Click) is directing from a script by Kevin James and Allan Loeb. The story centers on a teacher who moonlights as a mixed martial arts fighter in order to save his school’s music program.
Charice is reportedly playing the role of Malia, one of the students in the movie. And just like her first big-screen appearance (Alvin and the Chipmunks 2: The Squeakquel), she is expected to showcase her singing prowess in “Here Comes the Boom.”
The film is scheduled to be released on July 29, 2012.
Charice is also set to return on the hit TV series Glee. There are reports that the Singing Sensation is appearing on Season 2 Episode 17 titled “A Night of Neglect” but it’s still unconfirmed.

obvious ba GMA vs ABSCBN d2 kaya inaaway si sarah. Si Charice (wala siya contract sa ABS or sa GMA)Mga fans ng GMA7 (Regine, etc) inaaway si Sarah. Dahil dito, inaaway ng mga fans ni Sarah mga fans ni Charice. Mga Chasters naman, walang idea kung bakit nababanggit name ni Sarah dito!

wow.. mukang may role talaga sya dito ah unlike sa chipmunks kahit sinabi niang cameo lang role nia from the very start na pumutok ang storya, nag expect ang tao ng bongga. ang taas ng expectations, pero yun nga, parang dinaanan lang ng camera. sana this time, kahit maliit lang, basta may role sya. keeping my fingers cross.
