8th ENPRESS Golden Screen Awards Nominations Revealed

The Star Cinema comedy movie "Here Comes the Bride" leads this year's Golden Screen Awards with a whopping 15 nominations!

The Chris Martinez-helmed movie is considered the front-runner for getting the most number of nominations including Best Picture Comedy, Best Director, Best Actress in a Leading Role for Comedy for Angelica Panganiban, Eugene Domingo and Tuesday Vargas, and Best Actor in Leading Role for Comedy for Jaime Fabregas and John Lapus.

Following “Here Comes the Bride” are the Chito Roño musical “Emir” and the Joel Lamangan Cinemalaya entry “Sigwa” with 14 nominations each. Running with 11 nominations is the Star Cinema heavy drama “Sa ‘Yo Lamang.”

The 2011 Golden Screen Awards is happening on April 2, 2011 at the Promenade in Greenhills, San Juan City.
