Internationally acclaimed filmmaker Brillante Mendoza preps up for his latest opus, “Prey,” a storyline on Abu Sayyaf abduction.

The brilliant Filipino director takes on the Abu Sayyaf abduction in his new film titled “Prey”, based on an original story by Mendoza himself, under a screenplay by Lynda Casimiro (Lola).

According to reports, international shooting standards are being applied in the entire making of the movie which could be the country’s next entry to Cannes and other International Film Festivals abroad.

French actress Isabelle Huppert will star in the film as a kidnap victim. International Emmy Award nominee Sid Lucero will also star in the movie.
