The Kapamilya network will not just air the PBA but also the NBA!

ABS CBN STATEMENT ON AGREEMENT WITH SOLARtv FOR AIRING OF NBA GAMES

ABS-CBN Corporation thanks Solar TV Network for entrusting to the Kapamilya Network the free TV telecast of the National Basketball Association (NBA) games starting 19 February 2011. As part of a co-production agreement, ABS-CBN will be airing the NBA games on Studio 23, which would be a perfect fit to the Kabarkada Network’s sports and entertainment programming. The playoffs and finals will be aired over ABS-CBN nationwide.

Filipino sports fans can be assured that ABS-CBN, the country’s largest multimedia conglomerate, will continue to offer only the best in sporting events and specials. And our partner Solar TV can be assured of the all-out support that ABS-CBN is giving in bringing the NBA brand closer to more Filipino homes.

    its possible na ung laban ni pacman ay sa abs cbn na..napanuod ko sa tfc na may agreement or contract signing na ang solar sports at abs cbn sa ibang sports event na ipalalabas sa channel 2.

    If i were manny pacquiao, i’d think twice before letting gma cover my fights kasi they are slowly losing it. Wala na silang mga commercials, puro mga shows lang nila ang kinocommercial per gap. And plus, people nowadays watch pacquiao’s fights in the moviehouse or via live satellite sa mga barangays (here in cavite, the mayor sets up a large screen for the people para panoorin ang laban ni pacman for free via satellite pa) or thru pay per view kaya by the time na ipalabas ng gma ang laban niya, wala ng nanonood kasi alam na nila kung sino panalo eh.

    Binibining Pilipinas, PBA, NBA, MS.UNIVERSE, OSCARS, AZKALS GAMES! whoah, grabe na ang abs!!
