The Human Torch Says Goodbye to the Fantastic Four

Johnny Storm a.k.a. The Human Torch died on issue no. 587 of Marvel's The Fantastic Four.

Last month, I posted an article about the upcoming demise of a Fantastic Four member.

And he’s none other than Johnny Storm. Popularly known as The Human Torch, Johnny makes the ultimate sacrifice to save his young niece and nephews from a gargantuan swarm of mutant insects in the latest issue of Fantastic Four graphic novel which came out last Tuesday.

With the death of The Human Torch, issue no. 587 of The Fantastic Four graphic novel is also the final issue of the series as Marvel Entertainment intends to bring up another franchise that would replace it.

The senior vice president for publishing at the company said, “It’s final issue of the Fantastic Four. Beyond that, we’re not ready to say exactly what we’re doing. There won’t be an issue 589.”
