Barbie Forteza is set to topbill in GMA’s upcoming soap opera, “Nita Negrita.”

Despite the rumor that she has attitude problem, GMA is still giving Barbie Forteza a title role in an afternoon soap. Thanks to the fans of Barbie Forteza and Joshua Dionisio who are clamoring the Kapuso network to give their favorite loveteam a new project.

If all goes well, Barbie Forteza will topbill “Nita Negrita” and it will replace Little Star. Second lead in the new teleserye are Tween Hearts’ Leslie Fernandez and Kristopher Martin.

Also in the cast of “Nita Negrita,” according to reports, are Nova Villa, Diana Zubiri and Carmina Villaroel.

It looks like “Tween Hearts” is the new “That’s Entertainment”, a training pool of young stars who will be launched in bigger projects as its cast are getting meatier roles one by one.
