Paul is an upcoming 2011 ensemble science fiction comedy film directed by Greg Mottola and written by and starring Simon Pegg and Nick Frost.

“Paul” revolves around two British comic geeks (Pegg and Frost) who go on a road trip through America. On the way, they discover an alien named Paul (voiced by Seth Rogen) at Area 51.

Other cast members include Kristen Wiig, Sigourney Weaver, Jeffrey Tambor, Bill Hader, Jason Bateman, Joe Lo Truglio and Jane Lynch of Glee.

The film is directed by Greg Mottola (Superbad, Adventureland). The screenplay was written by the two co-stars, Nick Frost and Simon Pegg, of “Spaced” and Shaun of the Dead fame.

Paul will be released on March 18, 2011 and no longer on Valentine’s Day as earlier announced.
