The Black Eyed Peas is back with new single "The Time (Dirty Bit)" off their sixth studio album.

The song received mixed reviews from critics but they agree that it failed to meet the standards of their previous singles “Boom Boom Pow”, “Where is the Love”, “My Humps”, “Don’t Phunk with My Heart” and “I Gotta Feeling”.

“The Time (Dirty Bit)” samples the song “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life” from the film Dirty Dancing with group members Will.i.am and Fergie singing and rapping over a dance and techno beat.

The new single debuted at no. 12 on Billboard Hot 100 and has dropped to no. 13 this week.
