Right at this very moment, Starmometer has now 50,174 followers on Facebook.

I was just texting with ABS-CBN’s PR director regarding ANC’s (ABS-CBN News Channel) feat for having more than 100,000 followers on Twitter. This makes ANC the most influential news account on the said social networking site.

This gave me an idea to post a little trivia na rin telling you guys that Starmometer now has more than 50,000 followers on Facebook! That’s 50,174 to be exact. We hit the 50,000 mark perhaps this morning.

And according to our Sitemeter widget, the blog that started it all has now 21,758,756 unique hits since February 2006. I’m not quite sure if this is accurate because there were times that the counter is down.

And did you know that our current record for the highest hits received in a day happened last August 24, 2010, when Miss Universe was aired? We got 71,004 unique hits and 106,231 page impressions that day even though our site crashed a couple of times due to the spike in traffic.
