‘Dahil May Isang Ikaw’ Garners Nods from International Emmy
ABS-CBN’s 2009’s hit primetime series, ‘Dahil May Isang Ikaw,’ earns nods from the judges of the prestigious award-giving body under the category Best Telenovela alongside with two other telenovelas from Argentina and Portugal.
Sid, on the other hand, is nominated under the Best Actor category for his very effective portrayal of his character Red in ‘Dahil May Isang Ikaw’. He is competing with three other actors namely, Bob Hoskins (from the United Kingdom) and Sebstian Koch (from Germany) and Leonardo Sbaraglia (from Argentina.)
The announcement of winners will happen on November 22 in New York.
Last year, ABS-CBN’s ‘Kahit Isang Saglit’ and Kapamilya star Angel Locsin were also nominated.

I watched that show from beginning to end and Sid Lucero was really good. He portrayed his character so well, that sometimes I hated him for what he was doing, then loved him for his reasons in doing such things. Echo was good as a stroke or neuro victim. I love them both.

I salute sid lucero for his acting too.its not over-the-top.I’ve got this pet peeve of actors going overboard w/ their acting to make a point that they r awesom @ acting.subtlety is better & actually mor difficult to do.jericho,I’m ur fan, but sumtyms ur acting worries me; u seem too hyper? sumtyms in ur acting,but then other tyms ur unbelievably flawless.*squeals: can’t wait for GreenRose*
