National Book Store in partnership with Lifestyle Network and Food Magazine is bringing international food stylist Delores Custer back to Manila!

Custer will conduct a seminar on September 18 to coincide with the launching of her new book—Food Styling: The Art of Preparing Food for the Camera.

During her lecture, Custer will expound on major topics in the book such as overcoming challenges in food styling, troubleshooting on the set, the controlled versus the natural look, the importance of propping, creating test shots, building your portfolio, working with advertising assignments and meeting the gold standard in food styling. She will also discuss principles of recipe and cookbook writing, tips for chefs, caterers and others who want to style their own dishes and how to create visual materials to sell food related services.

The seminar will be conducted on Saturday, September 18, 2010, at Oceana Restaurant and Culinary School, San Miguel by the Bay, SM Mall of Asia Complex and is being co-presented by National Book Store, Food Magazine and Lifestyle Network.
