The competition for the Miss Universe crown has officially begun as the 83 candidates compete in their swimsuit and evening gowns during the presentation show.

Our very own Ma. Venus Raj was considered by pageant enthusiasts around the world as one of the front-runners during the Miss Universe presentation show last night (Friday morning in Manila), August 19, at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, USA.
