12-22-10 - will this be the date that the Songwriter and the Songbird finally tie the knot?

What’s so special about December 22 that Regine Velasquez keeps on dropping the date in her TV interviews, hinting that something important might happen on that day? Asked for comment, Regine’s beloved Ogie Alcasid has this to say (courtesy of RFL):

In the meantime, I will give you three guesses: 1) Regine and Ogie will finally (finally?) get married; 2) Regine and Ogie will finally (finally?) get the legal document they have long been waiting for; and 3) Regine and Ogie will go abroad for a (conjugal?) vacation and “commit” something.

In a text message sent to YES! Editor-in-Chief Jo-Ann Maglipon, Ogie Alcasid said he will make an announcement on Party Pilipinas this Sunday, August 8. The singer added that “it’s going to be a happy one.”
