Bettina Del Rosario lived a life comparable to a complex teleserye plot. And like a heroine in a soap opera, she never stopped striving for a happy ending.

An adopted child who never knew her biological parents, Bettina only realized how much of her past could make an impact when she suffered a hereditary disease called AVM or astrovenous malformation.

To add to her woes, her boyfriend broke up with her just before she found out she was pregnant. While her baby came out healthy and alive after a difficult pregnancy, Bettina lost a significant mass of her brain and the right part of her body was paralyzed. When she finally came out from comatose, she had to re-learn the alphabet as her speech skills were severely affected.
