ABS-CBN Launches Multiplatform Coverage of P-Noy’s First Sona

No Filipino will be left in the dark during the first-ever state of the nation address of President Aquino on Monday (July 26) with ABS-CBN’s multiplatform coverage that will deliver the first in news through television, cable TV, radio, and the Internet.

ABS-CBN and Studio 23 will lead the coverage on free TV with comprehensive reports and full telecast of President Aquino’s SONA starting 3:45pm. ANC, the ABS-CBN News Channel, meanwhile, will draw first blood with the earliest and longest coverage beginning at 8am until “The World Tonight” in the late evening. Catch the breaking news on the events heading to the SONA, exclusive interviews and expert analysis from guest panelists in the uninterrupted telecast of the country’s only 24/7 news channel.

Motorists, avid listeners and viewers of DZMM Radyo Patrol 630 and DZMM TeleRadyo can also catch the biggest news from the trusted anchors and reporters of DZMM Radyo Patrol.

There will also be live streaming at www.abs-cbnnews.com and live chat at the official accounts of ABS-CBN, ANC, Studio23, DZMM in social-networking like Twitter, Multiply, and Facebook.

The whole country tuned in to ABS-CBN in Aquino’s inauguration last June 30 based on the nationwide overnight ratings data from Kantar Media. The network’s “Panunumpa Sa Bayan The Aquino Inauguration” got a 23.1% rating compared to just 21.7% garnered by GMA7’s “Panata sa Pagbabago The Aquino-Binay Inauguration,” only proving that ABS-CBN is the preferred source of news of more Filipinos.

Be in the know in one of the most important historical events this year through the most extensive coverage from ABS-CBN channel 2, Studio 23, ANC (SkyCable ch. 27), DZMM Radyo Patrol 630, DZMM TeleRadyo, and www.abs-cbnnews.com for the service of Filipinos worldwide.
