Pinay singing sensation Charice sang the Philippine National Anthem at the inauguration of President Benigno (Noynoy) Aquino III on Wednesday, June 30th.

Charice rendered the “original” version of “Lupang Hinirang” like what she rehearsed last Tuesday with the help of maestro Ryan Cayabyab.

The Billboard chart-topper sticked to the “marching” tempo of the song to avoid controversy.

Charice will start shooting for the top-rating American TV series “Glee” on July 28 and will also train on Broadway for the show.
