‘I’ll Be There’ Earns P21.7 Million on its First 5 Days
Based from the latest report by third party tabulator Box Office Mojo for the period of June 16-20, “I’ll Be There” earned P21.7 million during its opening weekend. The Star Cinema movie placed 3rd for the said period behind Disney-Pixar’s Toy Story 3 which earned P54.75 and The Karate Kid‘s second weekend haul of P41.73.
Letters to Juliet, another debuting movie for the period, placed 6th with opening weekend gross of P3.77 million.
The other Pinoy movie in the tally is Emir which managed to earn P480 thousand on its second weekend. Emir‘s two weeks total is P2.7 million, a far cry from its P50 million+ budget.
