Claudine Barretto's self-titled drama anthology on GMA-7 will soon air its final episode.

According to reports, GMA Network’s EVP and CEO Gilberto R. Duavit himself revealed the news.

Duavit cited that the show’s poor rating is not the main consideration behind the management’s decision. The reason is Claudine’s hectic schedule because she’s busy filming “In Your Eyes” with Richard Gutierrez and Anne Curtis.

But according to Mr. Duavit, after “Claudine” airs its final episode, the kapuso actress will star in a new soap opera.
