Glee creator and executive producer Ryan Murphy discusses the show being a celebration of the underdog in us all – “The message is about inclusion. The show’s about having a voice, and singing loud and proud. It’s about the power of possibility.” On his coup in acquiring full access to Madonna’s catalogue for one of the season’s most acclaimed episodes. – “I just wrote her a letter. She never asked to see a script or know what the episode was about. She never said ‘You cannot use this,’ or ‘You will use that.’ She just said ‘Yes.'”
