12 Acts Compete on ‘Pilipinas Got Talent’ Grand Finals this Saturday

Dance group Baguio Metamorphosis and musical siren Ingrid Payaket, both from Baguio City, completed the top 12 finalists of “Pilipinas Got Talent” who will compete in the much-awaited grand finals at the Araneta Coliseum this coming Saturday (June 12).

Baguio Metamorphosis’ colorful costumes, contagious energy, and synchronized routine won the hearts of the public and garnered 28.78 percent of the total text and online automatically giving them the eleventh finalist slot.

Imusicapella Chamber Choir came in second with 26.32% followed by Ingrid with 17.97%. The chorale group may have received more votes from Pinoys all over the world, but the 12th and last finalist slot went to the young diva after judges Kris Aquino and Ai Ai Delas Alas voted in her favor. During performance night Saturday, Ingrid did a soulful rendition of a popular Broadway musical piece.

The two will now join other finalists which include Internet singing sensation Jovit Baldivino, ventriloquist Ruther Urquia, magician Allan “Alakim” De Paz, Fil-Norwegian crooner Markki Stroem, guitarist Keith Delleva, breakdancers Velasco Brothers, Ezra Band, balladeer Sherwin Baguion, chorale group Luntayao Family and violinist Jeline Oliva, and have a week to prepare for the grand showdown set to happen on Saturday at the Big Dome.

Who among the 12 finalists will emerge as the first ever grand winner of “Pilipinas Got Talent?”

Don’t miss the final performance night of “Pilipinas Got Talent ” this Saturday (June 12), 8:30 PM, at the Araneta Coliseum and the final results night on Sunday (June 13), 8 PM, still at the big Dome to be aired live on ABS-CBN.
