The ‘Singing Bee’ Goes to Sharon

This Sunday, June 6, Sharon will treat us with a festive “Manila Sound” episode together with one of her favorite leading men and close friend, “Mr. Singing Bee” Cesar Montano.

In an exclusive backstage interview on Sharon, Buboy is noticeably excited to be with his dear friend once again. “Excited na talaga ako dahil I know that this is another great opportunity and honor para makasama kong kumanta si Ms. Sharon Cuneta. I’m a big fan of Mega Sharon Cuneta kaya kung nasaan si Shawie, naku, ay nandoon din po si Cesar Montano, kahit maputi na ang buhok ko, hahabulin ko po siya.”

Cesar shares that Mega is one of his friends in showbiz that is really close to his heart. “Si Shawie magmula pa noon, masarap kasama, masaya, never a dull moment at palaging maalalahanin. Very warm ang pagkatao niya at palaging may pasalubong!

Apart from Mega, singing is something that Buboy really misses.

According to Cesar, just like Sharon, musical shows appeal to the televiewers because Filipinos love singing.

Cesar and Mega will jam together with the 70’s legendary Pinoy band, Hotdog, which is considered pioneers of “Manila Sound” that popularized songs like Annie Batungbakal, Beh, Buti Nga, Bongga Ka ‘Day and Manila. Other guests for this “Hotdog” special are Tom Rodriguez, K Brosas and Chokoleit.

Watch Mega and Buboy’s get-together this Sunday on the only musical variety show “kung saan lagi kang kasama,” Sharon, after Pilipinas Got Talent on ABS-CBN.
