Angelica Panganiban (as Rubi) finally meets her match in the person of Hector’s (Diether Ocampo) mother, Elisa, portrayed by Coney Reyes in the high-rating series, Rubi, on ABS-CBN.

However, according to Angelica, having to argue with a veteran actress like Coney Reyes in several scenes in ‘Rubi’ is indeed a tough challenge. “Siyempre po mataas ang respeto ko kay Tita Coney. Hindi naman sa sobrang nahihirapan ako, pero I consider it talaga as a tough challenge sa tuwing nagkakaharap kami sa eksena tapos ‘away’ scene pa,” Angelica revealed.

“Ang bait bait kasi ni Tita Coney. And sa mga ‘maldita’ scenes namin, Im amazed kung paano niya nagagawang mag-shift ng emotion ng ganun kabilis,” she added.

More confrontation scenes are yet to unfold between Rubi and Elisa as their personalities clash in “Rubi”, weeknights after Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo on ABS-CBN.
