Vocalist Jovic Baldivino and ventriloquist Ruther Urquia are the first two talents to fast-track in the grand finals of Pilipinas Got Talent.
The first batch of semi-finalists of Pilipinas Got Talent performed live last Saturday night to impress the televiewers and eventually get their votes. The results were revealed Sunday night where the Top 3 vote-getters will move on. The highest vote-getter will fast-track to the grand finals while the judges will choose another grand finalist between the second and third highest vote-getters.
Jovit Baldivino (CLICK HERE TO WATCH THE VIDEO), a singer from Batangas, was declared the first grand finalist after he received a whopping 80% of text and online votes from the televiewers.
Ruther Urquia (CLICK HERE TO WATCH THE VIDEO), the ventriloquist from Las Piñas City on the other hand, was also declared as one of the 12 Grand Finalists when he was chosen by the judges over singer Rolando Permangil from Davao.
Here’s the results of the text and online voting:
1. Jovit Baldivino 80.00% – Voters’ Choice
2. Ruther Urquia 9.77% – Judges’ Choice
3. Rolando Permangil 5.22%
4. Snap Boiz of Cebu 2.21%
5. Xavier University Cultural Dance Troupe from CDO 2.20%
6. Baguio Siblings from Cebu 0.06%
