Viva Condemns People Who Posted Anne Curtis’ Swimsuit Malfunction Photo

Viva Artist Agency, the company that serves as talent manager of Anne Curtis, released a statement condemning all "unscrupulous individuals who have capitalized" on the actress' swimsuit malfunction photo.

Anne Curtis had a swimsuit accident last Sunday, March 21, in Boracay during the taping of ASAP XV’s summer special episode. While dancing during the opening number segment of the musical variety show, Anne accidentally exposed her right breast as the right part of her upper swimsuit slipped. According to reports, Sam Milby rushed to cover Anne Curtis up, while the young actress burst into tears.

Unfortunately, some people from the audience are taking photos and video via their mobile phones during the incident. Despite the production staff’s plea to delete the captured scene, the photo still broke its way to the internet, proliferated in social networking sites last Monday. The uncensored version of the photo was even posted in some blogs.

(Note: Starmometer received the said photo from a reader last Monday night but we opted NOT to post it.)

Ms. Veronique del Rosario-Corpus of Viva Artist Center, the company who manages Anne Curtis‘ career, released the following statement regarding this matter:

We are appalled by the behavior of some people who have irresponsibly posted over the internet a photo of our artist, Ms. Anne Curtis Smith, taken during the taping of one of her production numbers for ASAP XV. What happened during the taping was an unfortunate accident. Nothing was done intentionally. Anne was merely doing her best to deliver a solid performance as an artist.

It is disheartening to discover though that certain people have taken advantage of the situation, maliciously uploading the photos over the internet. Worse, participating in the proliferation of the same over the net.

Obviously, some unscrupulous individuals have capitalized on this misfortune and consequently exploited our artist whose only fault was to do her job well.

We appeal to these individuals, please have a little respect and decency to stop posting the photos and distributing the same. Think of your sister, your mother, your wife, and your daughter. Have a heart.
