Taylor Swift is the Big Winner at the 52nd Grammy Awards

20-year-old Taylor Swift trumps Beyonce and Lady Gaga in the Album of the Year award at the 52nd Grammy's which was aired live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Taylor Swift bagged the top plum of the night, the Album of the Year award for Fearless. The 20-year-old also scooped the Grammy in the best country album category, best female country vocal performance for her single “White Horse” and the best country song category for the same track.

Good thing Kanye West did not appear after Swift received the most prestigious award of the night (CLICK HERE TO WATCH TAYLOR’S ACCEPTANCE SPEECH).

Swift’s biggest rivals were Beyonce and Lady Gaga. Beyonce bagged the Song of the Year award for Single Ladies while Lady Gaga bagged the Best Dance Recording award for Poker Face and Best Dance Album for The Fame.

Beyonce also scooped the Best Female R&B Vocal Performance and Best R&B Song for Single Ladies, Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance for At Last, and Best Contemporary R&B Album for I Am Sasha Fierce.

Although this year was dominated by females, Kings of Leon emerged as the biggest winner among the males for winning the Record of the Year award for Use Somebody. The band also won Best Rock Performance By a Duo/Group w/ Vocals and Best Rock Song for Use Somebody.
