Hit talent-variety program “Showtime” had a mighty comeback Tuesday (Jan 19), a day after ABS-CBN announced that a temporary restraining order was issued by the Court of Appeals allowing the program to get back on air.
The Movie Television Review and Classification Board put the program under preventive suspension last week due to remarks made by former guest judge Rosanna Roces. “Showtime” hosts, staff, crew, and studio audience were full of energy as they welcomed back the phenomenal morning show, which has provided a stage for ordinary Filipinos to shine and change their lives since it was launched last October 24. Also joining them in their comeback episode were Gary and Gab Valenciano and the Side A band.
“Showtime” airs from Monday to Saturday at 10:30am on ABS-CBN.
