This Saturday in Maalaala Mo Kaya, Gerald Anderson is about to prove that he is the next big "actor" of the kapamilya network via his most dramatic role yet.

Being groomed to follow the footsteps of Piolo, Jericho and Diether, Gerald Anderson will be launched as a full-blown dramatic actor via his own Maalaala Mo Kaya episode.

Gerald will play the role of Jerome Concepcion, a patient afflicted with Tourette Syndrome struggling to live a normal life. Rio Locsin, on the other hand, will play the role of his mother, afflicted to see his son losing hope. The special episode is helmed by Ruel Bayani, the acclaimed director of Tayong Dalawa, which also starred Gerald Anderson.
