Joseph Emmanuel Bascon, better knowns as "Joem" Bascon, is on the cover of Men's Health Philippines September 2009 issue.

Joem’s break through to showbiz was when he got noticed because of his resemblance to ultimate hunk Piolo Pascual. However, he has since tried to create his own image.

“To be compared with Piolo is really flattering especially when I was just starting, but I want now to be known as myself, as Joem Bascon, to finally have my own identity,” he said.

Joem is currently one of the stars of ABS-CBN’s afternoon soap Precious Hearts Romances Presents: Bud Brothers.

Joem is turning 23 this Saturday.
