The Backstreet Boys are Back

The Backstreet Boys are back in the limelight once again with the release of their new single "Straight Through My Heart", off their ninth album "This is Us".

“This is Us” is set to be released on October 6 while the lead single “Straight Through My Heart” are now being heard on the air.

The album which was produced by Jive Rcords has 11 songs co-written by group members Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell and AJ McLean with some help from hitmakers Max Martin, T-Pain, RedOne, Soulshock & Karlin, Jim Jonsin and Claude Kelly.

The group’s last album “Unbreakable” sold 1.7 million copies worldwide but it was a certified flop in the US for selling less than 150,000 compared with their 2005 reunion album “Never gone” which hit platinum status.

Critics labeled their new single as so 1990s and will struggle in the Billboard’s chart, although they also foresee that it will be a huge hit in Japan.
