The primetime race in AGB Nielsen's Mega Manila tv ratings is no longer dominated by GMA 7 as two ABS-CBN drama series keep on hitting the no. 1 spot one day or another.

It’s becoming difficult for the masked crusader Zorro to maintain the no. 1 position for GMA because the 2 drama series from ABS-CBN are equally strong. Gone were the days when GMA programs dominate the Top 5 every night, and sometimes they can even strike a Top 6!

Now, primetime leadership is always up for grabs for these 3 primetime programs and the news program 24 Oras. GMA’s newest telenovela “Rosalinda” is having difficulty in penetrating the top 5 as well as other programs like The Wedding and Adik Sa ‘Yo.

The daytime race, on the other hand, still belongs to the longest-running noontime show “Eat Bulaga.” It is safe to assume that GMA is still the dominant station in the daytime race as the no. to no. 4 position is being occupied by its soap operas “Kung Aagawin Mo ang Lahat sa Akin”, “Daisy Siete” and “Ngayon at Kailanman.”
