The Jonas Brothers will host and perform at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards, which will air on August 10, Monday.

The coolest stars, best films and best TV shows of 2008-2009 will receive the coveted Teen Choice Award surfboards in categories such as Choice Breakout TV Show, Choice Reality/Variety Show, Choice Breakout Artist, Choice Male Hottie, Choice Female Athlete and Choice Hookup as voted by teens aged 10-20.

In 2008, Teen Choice Awards was hosted by the Brothers’ Disney colleague Miley Cyrus. It was also the year when the Jonas Brothers won a whopping 6 surfboards. They won for Choice Breakout Group, Choice Love Song and Choice Single for “When You Look Me In the Eyes”, Choice Summer Song for “Burnin’ Up”, Choice Male Red Carpet Icon, and Choice Male Hottie beating Zac Efron.
