Who Will Star on ABS-CBN’s ‘Bandida’?

Bandida is an upcoming action series on ABS-CBN starring 3 gorgeous and sexy heroines.

The series is inspired by the 2006 sexy action movie “Bandidas” starring latina stars Penelope Cruz and Salma Hayek. Since ABS-CBN is using similar title for the series, it’s not yet confirmed if “Bandida” is a local adaptation of the Hollywood movie.

Bandida is set for the afternoon block known as “Hapontastic” replacing either Pieta, Parekoy or La Traicion.

The production team is preparing for the upcoming series and is still on the look out for the perfect lead stars. There are reports, however, that one of the 3 Bandida is PBB teen edition season 1 housemate-turned-sexy-covergirl Nina Jose. There are also clamors for PBB Teen Edition Plus housemate Nicole Uysiuseng to join the cast.

Rumor has it that Cristine Reyes was offered for the role of one of the 3 Bandida but the sexy actress refused and reasoned out that her followers are primetime viewers.

Angelica Panganiban was also offered for the role after she lost the lead for Mariposang Dagat. Rumors have it that Angelica engaged in an argument with ABS-CBN business unit head Enrico Santos because the role for “Mariposang Dagat” was promised to her but it went to another actress (Maja Salvador perhaps?). Sources said it was Santos who promised Angelica the project a long time ago but the management group suddenly changed their mind and gave the project to a still undisclosed actress.

Other female stars who are being considered for the role are BeBench winner Regine Angeles, former PBB housemate Megan Young, talented actress Toni Gonzaga, Myx Veejay Iya Villania, sexy covergirls Roxanne Guinoo and Bangs Garcia and former “Dragonna” Shaina Magdayao.

Here is the concept art for Bandida. Take note that the girl on the left looks exactly like Nina Jose, the girl in the middle looks like Regine Angeles while the girl on the right is similar to Angelica Panganiban:
