After gracing a number of fashion magazine covers, Marian Rivera is now a calendar girl.

Marian Rivera is not yet saying yes to the offers of sexy magazines like FHM, Maxim, Uno and Playboy to pose sexy and grace their covers but she said yes to be a calendar girl of Ginebra San Miguel for 2009. But how much flesh are she willing to show?

According to Nelson S. Elises, Ginebra San Miguel Inc. (GSMI) marketing head, “Napili namin si Marian dahil siya ang isa sa mga pinakakilalang artista sa panahong ito. Tulad ng Ginebra, alam naming lalong pang sisikat si Marian.”

The highly anticipated calendra will be available in selected Metro Manila stores next month.

Former Ginebra calendar girls are Iwa Moto, Maureen Larrazabal, Belinda Bright, Maricar de Mesa, Aubrey Miles, Rica Peralejo, Geneva Cruz, Patricia Javier and Angelica Panganiban.

Rumor has it that this endorsement was the cause of breakup of Marian Rivera and her boyfriend of 7 years, Ervic Vijandre. Ervic disapproved the offer of Ginebra San Miguel to Marian to be their 2009 calendar girl. The guy allegedly gave Marian an ultimatum, him or the endorsement. Now we know Marian’s choice between the two.
