Yul Servo Wins 2 Acting Awards in Brussels for ‘Brutus’ and ‘Torotot’

Indie actor Yul Servo took home two Best Actor trophies from the 35th Brussels International Independent Film Festival.

The sexy actor, who was linked with Piolo Pascual before, won the acting trophy from two of his indie films – the Cinemalaya entry “Brutus” and the sexy movie from Viva Films, “Torotot.” According to the writer of Brutus, who also attended the event, Yul cried like a Child when he delivered his speech at the awarding ceremony last November 10.

On the other hand, the film Brutus by Tara Illenberger, grabbed the Best Asian Film award.

Yul Servo won the Best Supporting Actor award in Cinemalaya this year for Brutus. He is currently part of the cast of GMA’s La Lola. He also works as a councilor in Manila. He will star next in the controversial indie film, “Dose.”
