The 11th Philippine Web Awards is now opening the voting process for each nominated websites in various categories vying for the People's Choice Awards.

The public can now vote via SMS and online at the Philippine Web Awards official website. This indicates the beginning of the pre-finals round and the chance for PWA supporters and followers to vote for their favorite websites to win the People’s Choice Award. Both SMS and online voting will end by 12 midnight of February 26, 2009 and winners will be announced during the awarding ceremonies on February 27, 2009.

My dearest Starmo peeps, please vote for Starmometer in the Best Blog category – People’s Choice. Here are the instructions on how to vote:

For online voting, simply register an account at philippinewebawards.com then log-in to your account. On the left side of the Member’s Lounge, you will see the link “Vote for Site.” Click it and then you can see a list of semi-finalists vying in different categories. Then, vote for your favorite website by clicking the radio button beside the website’s name. You can find Starmometer in the very first category which is “Blogs.”

For SMS voting, simple text the following:

WEBBYS VOTE 11

and send it to 2973 for Globe and Touch Mobile subscribers. I don’t know if they will open a line for Smart and Talk and Text subscribers. I’ll make an update if they do.
