GMA-7 has finally named the 18 castaways (originally 16) that will compete for Three Million Pesos and the prestigious title of first-ever Pinoy Ultimate Survivor.

The 18 castaways are composed of nine males and nine females selected from more than 43,000 aspirants. These people that came from diverse backgrounds—from basketball player to call center agent, from labandera to yaya—will spend 39 days in a remote island of Koh Tarutao in Thailand otherwise known as “The Devil’s Island.”

The reality show is hosted by Paolo Bediones. The battle of wit and brawn will begin on September 15.
