‘Wanted’ Tops Philippine Boxoffice

Angelina Jolie's action flick "Wanted" is last weekend's leader in local boxoffice grossing P 32.11 million on its first 5 days. Urduja is now the top-grossing pinoy animated movie earning P10.6 million so far. On the other hand, Caregiver is still on track to be the top-grossing pinoy movie of all time.

2 Hollywood movies debuted last weekend, Angelina Jolie’s “Wanted” and Paris Hilton’s “The Hottie and the Nottie.” Local indie film “Serbis” also debuted in Philippine theaters last week. The Brillante Mendoza movie received a number of cuts from the MTRCB in order to receive an R-18 rating. It also received a grade of “B” from the Cinema Evaluation Board.

Urduja is now on its 2nd week with current total gross of P 10,667,076.00.

Star Cinema’s Caregiver is now on its 5th week with current total gross of P 139,528,220.00.

Both Urduja and Star Cinema received a grade of “A” from the Cinema Evaluation Board.
