Sharon Cuneta’s Caregiver Graded ‘A’ by Cinema Evaluation Board

Caregiver is the second pinoy movie of the year to receive a grade of "A" by the Cinema Evaluation Board for filmmaking excellence after "Ploning."

Because the Star Cinema movie received the highest rating, it will be exempted in paying amusement tax to the government.

The last Star Cinema movie to receive a grade of A from CEB was Judy Ann Santos‘ “Sakal, Sakali, Saklolo.” This year, the first local movie to receive this highest rating was the indie movie co-produced and starred by Judy Ann Santos – Ploning.

Graded “B” movies this year, on the other hand, were My Bestfriend’s Girlfriend, When Love Begins, Ikaw Pa Rin Bongga Ka Boy and the upcoming Allen Dizon movie, Paupahan.

Supporting Sharon Cuneta in the movie are John Estrada, Rica Peralejo, Jhong Hilario, Boots Anson Roa, Mickey Ferriols, Lotlot de Leon, John Manalo, and Makisig Morales.

Caregiver opens tomorrow in theaters nationwide.
