The Primetime Queen Bags 3 Box-office Awards

In the 38th Box Office Entertainment Awards ceremony hosted by the Guillermo Mendoza Scholarship Foundation, Inc., the Primetime Queen Marian Rivera grabbed the Most Promising Female Star Award, the Face of the Night Award and the Phenomenal TV Star Award making her the most-awarded star of the night.

And when asked about the possibility of winning the “Box-Office Queen” title next year, she said, “Ang hirap kasing magsabi na next year, ganito na ‘ko.

Technically, Marian’s movie with Richard Gutierrez last February “My Bestfriend’s Girlfriend” remains the top-grossing movie so far and the only movie to surpass the PhP 100 million barrier from January 2008 to date (with the exception of MMFF movies which were all released in 2007).

If ever her next movie “Amnesia” with Dingdong Dantes and Iza Calzado duplicates BFGF’s feat and also surpass the P100 million mark, then i guess it’s safe to assume that Marian Rivera is a shoo-in for the Box-office queen award.

And when asked about the intriguing question that she’s taking away Angel Locsin’s endorsements, she said “Hayan na naman.
