After People Magazine released its annual "Most Beautiful" list, Time Magazine on the other hand released its annual "Most Influential" list featuring the couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt in the heroes category and controversial teen star Miley Cyrus in entertainment.

Time’s list of the world’s 100 most influential people also includes such luminaries as playwright, filmmaker, actor and beautiful person Tyler Perry, media baron Rupert Murdoch, ex-British Prime Minister Tony Blair, New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, and presidential wannabes Hillary Rodham Clinton, Barack Obama and John McCain. George W. Bush and his friend the Dalai Lama also made the list. As did Oprah Winfrey, for a record-breaking fifth time.
