Her first guesting stint on "How I Met Your Mother" has fueled its ratings to its all time high. Now, Britney Spears is reprising her role as secretary Abby on the CBS comedy series.

“We’re all so thrilled to have Britney joining us once again,” series executive producer and co-creator Craig Thomas said in a statement.

The Britney Spears episode last March 24 won her good reviews and boosted the show’s viewership to 10.6 million compared to its average rating of 9.6 million.

The said episode ended with Britney (as secretary Abby) flirting with Barney (Neil Patrick Harris). The upcoming episode on May 12 has Abby and Barney sharing their mutual dislike of Ted (cast member Josh Radnor) and acting on it.

“How I Met Your Mother” stars Neil Patric Harris (Doogie Howser M.D.), Josh Radnor, Cobie Smulders, Alyson Hannigan and Jason Segel (“Forgetting Sarah Marshall”) as an urban family of 20-something New Yorkers.
