With Paolo Bediones' impressive track record in hosting GMA's top-rating programs like Extra Challenge, Whammy and Tok! Tok! Tok! Isang Milyon Pasok, many people expected that he will get the hosting job in the highly-anticipated Pinoy Idol, but Raymond Gutierrez was picked instead.

But GMA has something in store for Paolo. The network has just announced that Paolo will host the biggest reality show that started all reality shows – Survivor!

This could be the reason why “Tok! Tok! Tok!” was temporarily taken off the air despite its high ratings so Paolo can prepare for the physically and mentally challenging Survivor Philippines.
