Richard Gutierrez is currently the highest paid star of GMA 7 and currently the station's primetime king but rumor has it that ABS-CBN has a sky-high offer for the handsome actor just to be a kapamilya star as soon as his contract with the kapuso network expires on the last week of May.

There are some speculations that the reasons why the buzz that Richard is transferring to ABS-CBN is getting louder and louder are:

1. Richard has “tampo” with the management of GMA 7 because he wasn’t included in the original summer station plug of the kapuso station.

2. The apple of Richard’s eyes is KC Concepcion – currently the hottest “property” of ABS-CBN.

3. Richard’s former loveteam, Angel Locsin, is on ABS-CBN already.

4. Richard’s sister, Ruffa Gutierrez, is also a kapamilya star.

5. Richard’s contract is expiring in May.

6. ABS-CBN’s offer is “too-good-to-be-true” that Richard’s mom Annabelle Rama, which is also his manager, is contemplating the offer.
