The first episode of Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Plus last night, after it's spectacular launch last Sunday night, is off to a good start as the ABS-CBN reality show penetrated the Top 5 in the primetime race. PBB registered 26.3% which is good for 5th place, first time for a kapamilya show in weeks. In consequence, GMA's koreanovela, "The Legend", dropped to no. 9 with just 20.8 percent.
On the other hand, GMA's newest soap "Babangon Ako't Dudurugin Kita", Yasmien Kurdi and JC de Vera's first show in the primetime race debuted at no. 4 with a modest 28 percent—which is considerably lower compared to the pilot episodes of other GMA-7 primetime shows.
In the daytime race, two Hana Kimi shows from rival networks also started yesterday. The Japanese version, which is from GMA debuted at no. 3 with 16.7%. The Taiwanese version, which is from ABS-CBN, did not make it to the Top 10.
