Hana Kimi is a Japanese anime about the developing romance of a guy and a girl who looks like a guy. It means "For You in Full Blossom" in Japanese and it's the inspiration of the Taiwanese romantic series "Hua Yang Shao Nian Shao Nu" which is also known in Singapore, Japan and South Korea as "Hana Kimi". Hana Kimi has a similar plot with the koreanovela “Coffee Prince” which is set to air its last 3 episodes this week on GMA 7.

ABS-CBN claims Hana Kimi is the original since it was based on the popular Japanese anime to begin with.

Hana Kimi will be aired on the afternoon block which, i think, is not a good idea. This soap is very promising and with the popularity of Coffee Prince, ABS-CBN should have put Hana Kimi in the primetime block.
