Ranking the Top 10 American Idol Female Performances

The guys came back yesterday from a dismal output last week with David Archuleta ruling the show and Chikezie redeeming himself. But the girls who received rave reviews last week were just so so tonight. There were no clear stand outs as most of them delivered what we call a "safe" performance. Our power ranking of the Top 10 girls after the jump...

And the four girls that we think were at the head of the pack:

1. Ramiele Malubay – “Don’t Leave Me This Way” by Thelma Houston
The judges didn’t like her song choice but we believe her vocals were better this week.
(Last Week: No. 2/12)

2. Brooke White – “You’re So Vain” by Carly Simon
(Last Week: No. 8/12)

3. Carly Smithson – “Crazy On You” by Heart
