Ramiele Malubay Receives Praises on First Idol Performance

ramiele-malubay-01-2008-02-20.jpgOur very own Ramiele Malubay hit homerun as she received high compliments from the judges on tonight's American Idol Top 12 girls performance show. She sang “You Don’t Have To Say You Love Me” by Dusty Springfields. Randy Jackson said, “Very classy, almost like a pro.” Paula Abdul said, “You’re a force to be reckoned with.” Simon Cowell said, “Tonight, you out sung every single person.”

But after all the girls performed, Randy Jackson commented that Carly Smithson was the best vocal of all the Top 24. She could be the producers’ pick for the girls as David Archuleta is for the guys. But television critics think otherwise.

BuddyTv has this to say about Ramiele:

Ramiele Malubay is a little girl with a big voice. She sings Dusty Springfield’s “You Don’t Have to Say You Love Me.” She has one heck of a voice, and knows how to build the song up. It’s a great vocal performance, easily the best of the night so far. The judges are also very high on her, and Simon agrees with me that she outsung everyone else tonight. Ramiele’s favorite part of the whole experience is hair and make-up, which is so adorable.

In a poll conducted by BuddyTV, Ramiele is currently on no. 1 position with 26 percent as the most favored among the Top 12 girls who performed a few minutes ago. She is followed by Asia’h Epperson with 13 percent and Brooke White with 11 percent.
